 Oncology Esthetic

If you are undergoing treatment for cancer you may experience troubling side effects both during and after the procedures. These side effects can impact you on many levels: physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. The use of complementary therapies is becoming increasingly popular among cancer patients and survivors to bolster confidence and support improved outcomes —  and can be an important part of your recovery.

For women in particular, a cancer diagnosis forces them to confront aggressive treatment side effects that can cause vast changes to their physical appearance. An integrative approach to cancer care should be considered to help maintain or regain a positive relationship with your body.

I am Oncology Training International (OTI) certified, which means I have specialized expertise in esthetic approaches that can address skincare issues specific to those who are being treated for cancer or who are in remission.

I am also a breast cancer survivor. I did not have to have invasive treatments, and I still felt my appearance and femininity was compromised by the “cure” for my illness. I was told repeatedly that the scars will go away and it will heal quickly.  Those words did not give me peace.

My mission and goal is to bring healing and comfort to you to help bolster your confidence and strengthen your spirit during this challenging time.
